Today, it was kind of like a day to reflect. I went to church, congregation sang the song magnificent and Amazing Love! (: My two favourite christian songs. After that, it went down to prayer. Pastor talked about world hunger today. He showed us a powerpoint video. It showed us, children who had clean water to drink, while other kids were drinking from drains. While we had computer, other kids were actually drawing on sand.

It also showed lots of other stuffs. But one picture which really etched deeply in my mind was this :

It was in black and white! I lazy to change the colour! So, be blessed you have the coloured one! This wasnt taken by the pastor who went on the mission trip, but by a news journalist who later won a prize.

He said when the news journalist went up to take his prize, he was questioned " what did you do after you took this picture? " The news journalist answered" i just took a rest under a shade and smoke my cigar and left."

Why? it was because there were hundreds of vultures waiting to feed on just this one kid. I was really shocked! I mean like when we complain everyday, did we ever think of these kids before? Maybe if we think of them, we wouldn't complain too much.

Today, monster suddenly became so nice. It was suppose to be like that, monster suppose to bank in Evil Monster's cheque. But she was late, she banked in yesterday. So money wasn't deducted. We went to church with only $20++ as we forgot to bring money out. Everyone in the car had little money. Monster suppose to remember to bring out money! But by god's grace , we still were able to eat lunch. (:

Monster said something today which made me felt sad. Tears just flow down so easily when she said" i also not say use the $200 to buy clothes or what. I save them for the later times, when we grow old got money to spend, save for childrens' education!"

At this point of time, i realized, monster actually worked very hard for this family. But she did not complain at all. Not even a word. I love this monster of mine! (:
